Our locations are open seasonally from Memorial Day to Labor Day, so the timing is perfect for high school and college breaks.

Flexible schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Holidays

Your responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring the pool area to prevent accidents and respond quickly in emergency situations.
• Enforcing pool rules and ensuring that all guests follow safety guidelines.
• Conducting regular inspections of the pool, equipment, and facilities to ensure they are in optimal condition.
• Providing excellent customer service by assisting guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
• Ensures swimmers are aware of potentially dangerous swim areas and activities
• Administering first aid and performing water rescues when necessary, following established protocols.
• Testing and maintaining water quality by regularly monitoring chemical levels and making adjustments as needed.
• Keeps the pool area clean and orderly to ensure the safety of the Members
• Collaborating with fellow lifeguards and staff to maintain a cohesive and efficient team environment.

Qualifications

To be considered for the position of seasonal lifeguard, you should meet the following requirements:

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Must be authorized to work in the USA
• Must be able to pass Lifeguard training
• Excellent swimming skills and physical fitness to perform water rescues and respond effectively in emergency situations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests of all ages in a friendly and professional manner.
• Strong attention to detail, not easily distracted, and commitment to safety
